Vetzy is a comprehensive platform that connects pet owners with veterinarians, making it easier to manage your pet's health and schedule appointments. This guide will help you get started with the platform.

Creating Your Account

The first step to using Vetzy is creating an account. Here's how:

1. Click on the "Sign Up" button in the top right corner of the homepage
2. Enter your email address and create a secure password
3. Verify your email address by clicking the link sent to your inbox
4. Complete your profile by adding your name and contact information

Adding Your First Pet

Once your account is set up, you can add your pets to your profile:

1. Navigate to "My Pets" from the dashboard
2. Click "Add New Pet"
3. Enter your pet's information:
   • Name
   • Species (dog, cat, etc.)
   • Breed
   • Date of birth or approximate age
   • Weight
   • Photo (optional but recommended)
4. Save the information

Finding a Veterinarian

Vetzy makes it easy to find veterinarians in your area:

1. Use the search bar on the homepage to search by location
2. Browse veterinarian profiles to see their specialties, availability, and reviews
3. Use filters to narrow down your search by:
   • Specialty (general practice, surgery, emergency, etc.)
   • Distance from your location
   • Availability
   • Languages spoken

Booking Your First Appointment

Once you've found a veterinarian, booking an appointment is straightforward:

1. Click on the veterinarian's profile
2. Select "Book Appointment"
3. Choose the pet for the appointment
4. Select the type of service needed
5. Pick an available date and time from the calendar
6. Add any notes or special requirements
7. Confirm and complete the booking
